We believe education is a key to the advancement of any country. We thank God for the opportunity to partner with Bishop Stephen Lewis to provide Christian education in the country of Liberia, raising up the next generation of Godly leaders. | 
A New School for Children in Liberia!
Prayer is Powerful! These ladies prayed for 7 years (sometimes 12 hours a day) that a school would be built for their children. GOD ANSWERED! Thanks to each one of you who made this project a success! To God be all Glory!
All the finances came in to complete the building of this beautiful school. 480 students have registered from K-9th. 21 teachers complete the staff. Their doors open this September!The school has 9 classrooms, 2 bathrooms, and separate kitchen unit. 600 sets of school supplies were donated by Christian sisters from Hong Kong. As the students came to receive their gift, Larry prayed for them one by one. Everyone was so excited to receive a regulation soccer ball for the PE! Soccer is loved by the Liberians. We all know that education is a key that unlocks potential in a child's life. Thanks to each of you who helped to bring these kids closer to their dreams. |
Ministry in Liberia 2011
So much was completed in Liberia this year: A new well was dedicated to the community. Many families in the area will now be spared the long walk to obtain water. God answered this need through the ministry of Pastors Denny & Sandy Toyne. Sixty-two Bible school students received either a first or second year diploma. It was a joyful day of celebration. Bibles and beautiful books were given to each graduate.
We couldn't do it alone. Thanks to Lisa Wan who accompanied us, all the ministry, preaching, and dedication of the new school went smoothly. The children again captured our hearts. 1000 bundles of clothing and food was given to needy families. The children would wait for hours in the heat to receive ministry of Bible stories and songs and their plate of food. Many children are still eating only one meal a day.
