Meet the Team

Larry & Jean Johnson
Founders
Larry: My whole life can be summed up in three short sentences: God is faithful! He is full of love and mercy! And He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. I was born into a big, close family. My parents made sure we were in Sunday School and church every week. Early on, I was given a picture of Jesus standing at the door, knocking (The Light of the World by W.H. Hunt). I wanted to let Him in, but it wasn’t until I was 17 years old that I would accept Jesus as my Savior.

Life changed. A love for people began to grow in my heart. However, I wasn’t living for God. I had my own ideas of how my life should go! Then one day, out behind the barn near Somers, Iowa, God spoke to my heart and said “Larry, you are straddling the fence. If you don’t get on one side or the other, I will rip you right up the middle!” I fell to my knees and told God that I wanted to serve Him completely! I was instantly delivered of smoking, drinking, and swearing and baptized in the Holy Spirit. I began speaking in tongues! From that day on, God ordered my footsteps from Iowa to many parts of the world, allowing me to tell of His love for ALL people! My prayer is that every seed that was planted will come to full salvation!

I was only fourteen when God spoke clearly to my heart the word “China”. I was sitting in the woods alone, praying and asking God what He wanted me to do with my life. I was so shocked to hear the word China, that I asked God if there was anything else? I would audibly hear China, China again! Well, I knew God had called me to be a missionary to China. However, it would be over 30 years until it would come to pass! Rest in God as He prepares your journey’s details!

Kam & Lisa Leung

Kam has been serving as Will Go Canada’s Outreach Coordinator since 2009. Known for his approachable personality, Kam is the one behind outreaches and mentorship of new believers. Equipped with wealth of marketplace experience, Kam is able to connect with people from all walks of life.

Lisa joined the Will Go team as an Urban missionary in Fall 2012. She then served as the Associate International Director & travelled with Larry & Jean on mission. She graduated from the King’s University, Dallas Master of Divinity program and was ordained as Pastor in 2015. She believes in prayer-led living and has a heart to see people come to know God intimately, and grow in His image through the Word of God. Together, Kam and Lisa have answered the call to serve the Lord through Will Go.
